Good, so you’re a student. So are almost 850 million other young people from all over the world. The fact that you want to test your independence possibilities makes you special. You want freedom, opportunity to experience new adventures and also money? Ok, we got it! Especially for you was created the Work and Travel program. You fly across the ocean, over the mountains or the whole continent, you get to see America and you come back packed with money. Sounds easy? It actually is!
Duration:
The Work and Travel program unfolds on the period of your university break (that is no longer than 4 months) and it starts with your arrival on one of the US airports.
Short history:
During the 60’s the American State Department set up a series of programs through which young people from around the world had the opportunity to experience the American lifestyle. It was initially just a travel program but it became Work and Travel once they discovered that you can also earn money to finance your journey across USA.
