Q: How much do I have to pay to get a job from Smart Staff?
A: You can enjoy the full benefits of having a Smart Staff job only by registering in a program that our partners promote at no cost for you besides the program fee.
Q: How many hours can I work?
A: Most of the employers offer you 40h/week on regular basis but you might be required to work more, extra-hours being considered overtime and paid 150% more.
Q: What if I am injured on the job?
A: Participants are protected by the same labor laws as US citizens. All job-related injuries are covered by Worker’s Compensation. Please refer to your employers “Worker’s Compensation insurance policy”.
Q: What if I am not satisfied with my employer?
A: You should first of all try to solve things between you and your employer and if this does not work contact us for further assistance.
Q: Can I extend my stay in the U.S.A.?
A: No. You can not stay more than the period listed on your Visa. Any delay will result in future problems with the Consulate in your home country.
Q. What rules and laws apply to Smart Staff participants?
A. International participants are subject to the same laws and regulations as their US counterparts.
