J-1 Visa Work and Travel Student Program
Summary
J-1 Visa Work and Travel Student Program provides American employers with a unique seasonal staffing solution. The J-1 Visa Work and Travel Student Program assists companies with meeting current labor demands by bringing international university students to the US on their summer break.
Students work in entry-level jobs for hotels, inns, casinos, amusement parks, campgrounds and restaurants in resort areas. Work/Travel participants are highly motivated, adaptable and committed to making a positive contribution to your company. In addition, our participating students are:
• Currently enrolled in a university outside of the US.
• Pre-screened based on your criteria.
• Able to speak and understand English (all our candidates are checked for English competency).
• Fully authorized to work in the US for up to four months.
All visas are arranged by Smart Staff. There is no paper work for the employer, apart from singing the job offer. The students may be employed in any of the departments of your company. There are no added obligations for employers.
Step-by-step
• Contact Smart Staff with a brief description of your staffing needs.
• We will send you profiles of students who meet your needs, you tell us whom you want to hire.
• Fill out the Job Offer for chosen students.
• Students apply for the J-1 Visa at the local US Consulate in their home country. After students receive their visa, Smart Staff will arrange their transportation to the US.
• The students arrive, on dates agreed with you and start working for you.
